The new company will provide a number of services which used to be outsourced

A growing architecture firm has launched a new company – to enable it to provide services which it previously outsourced.

Hewitt & Carr Architects (HCA), based in Cheadle, already has two arms to the business after adding Hewitt & Carr developments to its portfolio in 2014.

Now it has launched a separate entity – called Hewitt & Carr Services – to offer health and safety consultancy, project management and town planning strategy and advice.

The new company will be managed by Natalie Hewitt and Mark Carr, who launched HCA in 2011, but each service will be headed up by an expert in each field, including health and safety specialist Ruth Wright.

Natalie said: “HC Services is a completely separate entity and a company in its own right.

“We have been outsourcing things like health and safety consultancy for some time. We know from our own experience that there is big demand for the services we’re offering.

“Health and safety legislation is complicated and complex. The company’s USP is that the services will be delivered by experts in their field and tailored to the specific market in which a client works, especially around the health and safety agenda.

"We’re really looking forward to the business growing and adding to our already established client list.”
