A Plymouth competitions website is aiming to spend £3million securing prizes from companies in 2021 – less than a year after launching

Leon Theisinger and Ollie Prowse started in February 2020, tapping into the enormous online competitions industry. In less than a year the enterprise was reaching three million people a month and giving away nearly 100 prizes.

The venture has placed more than £500,000 with companies in the Plymouth area and is budgeting to spend about £3million with businesses, mostly in the locality, on securing prizes in 2021.

“We continued to build,” said Mr Theisinger. “Only 10 months in and we continue to grow at an incredible rate, now reaching near on three million people for each 28 day rolling period.

“This means so far we’ve been able to give away 97 amazing main prizes, of which 39 went to Devon and Cornwall winners, and countless smaller prizes, broadcasting live on Facebook to winners from Cornwall to Scotland and even across the Northern Ireland.”

He said that in October 2020 the business launched , built by parent company Kioo Marketing, to “adulation from the competitions market” due to its clarity and simplicity of use.

“As a result we now have 150,000 unique visitors every month, which is experiencing a steady growth rate of approx 20% week on week,” Mr Theisinger said.

“We are extremely proud of the growth that we are seeing in our business, built during a period of complete uncertainty and we have now placed over £500,000 worth of business with our local partners in just the last 10 months.
