Grimsby鈥檚 eco-tech specialist Myenergi has been named in the top 10 of The Sunday Times Hundred 2022 - the revered list of Britain鈥檚 fastest growing companies.
Sales have smashed 拢50 million for the Stallingborough headquartered operation on the back of growth at an eye-watering 181 per cent.
It now employs more than 350, with 250 in North East Lincolnshire, having gone from a standing start of two in 2016.

And the recognition - at position nine - comes in a week when its sponsorship of home town football club Grimsby Town was revealed.
Jordan Brompton, co-founder and chief marketing officer, said: 鈥淚t has been a crazy time, with so much work put in by the entire team. It is not easy to grow a manufacturing and technology business like this, it is a lot of long hours and a lot of stress, but lots of fun.
鈥淪o much goes into it, and the next phase now is how we keep up with that level of growth, and more if we can. Where we can take it now, that is the exciting thing.鈥
The build has begun on a new manufacturing facility alongside the new base on Pioneer Park, with a 60,000 sq ft addition to emerge. Manufacturing is currently temporarily housed in Grimsby鈥檚 former Wickes store on Alexandra Retail Park, with the pace of growth - turnover came in at 拢52.5 million in the year to May - meaning phase one was required purely for head office activity.
鈥淪pades are in the ground, work is well and truly going ahead, and that will allow us to increase capacity, to keep up with demand,鈥 she said.
鈥淲e鈥檝e gone from an early adopter to mainstream, we鈥檙e now seeing that shift, and it is now about making sure we are positioned to grow and keep our market share - that鈥檚 the big challenge.鈥
The Sunday Times takes up the fortunate meeting with EV evangelist Robert Llewellyn,as a catalyst for the success.
The citation reads: 鈥淏est known for its Zappi electric vehicle charger, this Grimsby-based manufacturer was started by Jordan Brompton, 33, and Lee Sutton, 45, in 2016.
"Sales took off after former Red Dwarf actor and electric car enthusiast Robert Llewellyn featured the charger on his popular YouTube show.
"The company made 拢52.5 million sales in the year to May and Myenergi now employs 350 people across subsidiaries in Germany, Australia, Ireland and the Netherlands. Former Tesco boss Sir Terry Leahy is among its investors.鈥
Of the three year deal with Grimsby Town, with the new home shirt revealed this week, Mrs Brompton, who was named Humber Renewables Woman of the Year last month, added: 鈥淚鈥檓 absolutely buzzing, and relieved that the town seems to like it. It feels like a really positive response. It was a big sigh of relief as we wanted to do it justice, and we鈥檙e absolutely delighted with that now.鈥
Myenergi is one of only two from the region to make the top 20, with Greenarc in at 14 - a Hebden Bridge fuel and renewables broker - recording growth of 140 per cent, taking it to 拢17.8 million.
Just outside, Barnsley鈥檚 Lucy and Yak, in 21st, is a fashion retailer with 118 per cent growth taking sales to 拢17.4 million, with Bayford Group, the Leeds-based energy property and hospitality operator immediately behind (114 per cent / 拢171 million).
Vet Eville & Jones, also of Leeds, came in 56th (61 per cent / 拢35 million), while Halifax vehicle claims and repairs manager Activate Group was 58th, (61 per cent / 拢192.8 million). The final regional representative is Leeds home interiors retailer Dowsing and Reynolds (45 per cent / 拢7.3 million).
West Midlands sportswear and fashion brand owner AYBL Group topped the table with 359 per cent growth to 拢23.5 million.
