Two more engineering firms have bolstered a Grimsby-centred consortium poised to harness the potential of significant industrial investments. On Line Group and Blackrow Group, which united in June with the intention of jointly pursuing contracts arising from substantial decarbonisation projects supported by the Comprehensive Spending Review, have now welcomed Technica and F. E. S. (EX) Ltd into the fold.
These new additions bring a wealth of knowledge in utility and energy infrastructure, electrical contracting, and consultancy for hazardous settings to the table. The collective turnover of the expanded group exceeds £100m, backed by a workforce surpassing 800 individuals.
The expansion of the partnership was declared by Barry Taylor, managing director of On Line Group, during a dedicated gathering at the firm's Immingham base. He remarked: "Only a month ago, we announced our collaboration with Blackrow Group. This partnership allows us to deliver end to end engineering solutions with a vastly increased resource capability and capacity.", reports .

The Humberston-based hazardous area consultancy and electrical contractor F. E. S. (EX) Ltd has recently marked its 20th anniversary, offering installation, engineering, inspection and process safety support services.
Managing director James Ward commented: "Contracting businesses can be limited when working in isolation. By providing our services as part of a significantly wider offer, we see great potential."
