Graham Norton's substantial salary has been reduced following a decline in revenue and profit for his production company in 2024, it has emerged.

The television presenter earned £2.4m last year, a decrease from the £2.7m he pocketed in 2023, as reported by .

Norton's remuneration is not included in the BBC's annual list of star salaries as he is paid through his own production company rather than directly by the corporation.

This pay cut follows a downturn in financial performance for So Television, the producer of The Graham Norton Show, in 2024 after The John Bishop Show and Hannah Gadsby's Gender Agenda did not return for new series that year.

So Television, co-founded by Norton himself, stated that the decision not to renew these shows led to a reduction in the company's programming hours from 28 to 22.

This decrease also resulted in its revenue dropping from £14.5m to £10m and its pre-tax profit falling from £3.9m to £2.2m, according to newly filed accounts at Companies House.

In the º£½ÇÊÓƵ, the company's revenue decreased from £10.7m to £7.7m and from £3.7m to £2.3m internationally.
