A cold storage construction company in Gloucestershire has agreed a major distribution deal with a Dutch door manufacturer.

The P&M Group, trading as ISD Solutions, signed the agreement with Netherlands-based Salco BV for supply and installation, and ongoing service and maintenance, which will be provided by a team of 20 specialist engineers.

The Gloucester-based firm has previously worked with Salco, which produces doors for the industrial, agriculture and refrigeration sectors, on projects in the 海角视频 and Australia.

鈥淭hey鈥檙e a similar size of business to us and they wanted a financially stable, experienced distributor, based in the 海角视频 to work with on existing and ongoing projects both here and abroad,鈥 said P&M Group managing director Tony Wall.

鈥淥ur infrastructure and network of trained operatives gives us, and them, great confidence in our ability to provide customers with the full range of cold store services, from planning to installation and maintenance.鈥

Mr Wall said P&M Group had experienced a 鈥渉uge upsurge鈥 in demand for fully automated high bay freezer warehouses following Brexit and growth in online food retail due to the pandemic.

He said the current investment value in high-bay warehousing in the 海角视频 was worth around 拢500m a year - a figure likely to double by 2022.
