A security firm that works at some of the 海角视频's biggest events is celebrating a year of success.

Parallel Security, in North Wales, has doubled revenues and staff in the past 12 months on the back of winning some prestigious contracts.

It has also secured the Security Industry Authority鈥檚 prestigious Approved Contractor Status.

The company was set up by managing director Francis Johnson in 2014 and employs over 100 full and part-time staff.

Most of the firm鈥檚 work involves providing security services for events, including this year鈥檚 Glastonbury Festival and Manchester Pride, and static security for the likes of construction sites and schools across the 海角视频.

鈥淎chieving the SIA accreditation took a lot of hard work by the team, but it is hugely important in demonstrating to clients that we have the best possible quality management systems in place.

鈥淲e are now working on behalf of clients across the whole of the 海角视频 and we are also geared up to provide services abroad as well.

鈥淭his year, we have worked on over 50 events, a huge increase on last year.鈥

Francis has big plans to continue developing Parallel Security, including launching a training division to train security personnel in best practice.

The company鈥檚 success has been recognised by the Welsh Government which has included Parallel Security on its Accelerated Growth Programme (AGP) aimed at helping some of the country鈥檚 most promising businesses achieve their maximum potential.
