The 2022 LeicestershireLive Business Awards were held at the King Power Stadium, home to Leicester City FC.
The evening 鈥 headline sponsored by Freeths and the University of Leicester 鈥 was hosted by TV presenter and magician Ben Hanlin and celebrated the talent Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland have in abundance.
Winners ranged from a global software giant valued at more than 拢9 billion to an online outlet shop specialising in branded clothing to one of the region鈥檚 poshest hotels.
A Lifetime Achievement Award went to Leicester Riders chairman Kevin Routledge, who is also a director of the Morningside Arena, the new home of the Leicester Riders. The area opened in January 2016, and its success has been such that it is already nearing the end of a big extension.

Speaking from the stage Mr Routledge 鈥 who attended with his wife Ursula 鈥 said: 鈥淚 want to accept this on behalf of a lot of people who have done a lot of work to help the Riders get to where they are today.
鈥淪o thank you all 鈥 it is hugely appreciated and literally I had no idea I was getting this.鈥
