The future of five pubs and hotels in Lancashire have been put at risk after their parent company entered administration.

Provincial Hotels & Inns has recently appointed Patrick Lannagan and Julien Irving of Mazars LLP as joint administrators,

The company, which was founded in 2013 and is based near Carnforth, owns and trades four public houses and a hotel.

They are:

  • The County Lodge & Brasserie, Carnforth
  • The Blue Anchor, Bolton-le-Sands
  • The Manor Inn, Lancaster
  • Yorkshire House Hotel, Lancaster
  • The Windmill Tavern, Preston

All five venues are set to continue trading for the time being while Mazars assesses the 'financial position' of the parent company.

Currently, there is 'confidence' in a 'positive outcome' for the five sites due to their popularity.

Mr Lannagan said: "Trading will continue while the administrators assess the financial position of the businesses.
