Funding specialist Heaward Solutions is set to move into a new office and develop a team of consultants as part of its plans for growth.
Founded by consultant Andrew Heaward around four years ago, Heaward Solutions has won well over 拢1.5 million in grants and other funding for charities and sports clubs.
Now the company is moving from Andrew鈥檚 home office to Parkhall Business Village, in Stoke-on-Trent, and is expanding its workforce with the support of Keele University鈥檚 Santander Internship scheme.
The move forms part of the company鈥檚 ambitious plans to develop a network of expert consultants across the 海角视频.
Andrew, of Blythe Bridge, said: 鈥淲e work with charities and not-for-profits across the country to help them to generate essential funding needed for projects.
鈥淚n turn, this supports thousands of people with much needed support, so it鈥檚 an extremely satisfying business to be in.
鈥淚 have grown the company reputation by word of mouth and now we are in a position to expand, and this means a move away from my home office.鈥
Heaward Solutions has now recruited international business Masters student Lara Spray after she successfully worked with the company through the university鈥檚 KRISP scheme.
She will join the company as a junior consultant once she completes her final year project this summer.
Lara鈥檚 recruitment marks the next stage of the firm鈥檚 plans to develop a network of associate consultants across the country who can add specific expertise to the business 鈥 such as charity management.
Heaward Solutions has won funding for a diverse range of community groups across the 海角视频 and gave strategic support to the successful Milton Keynes bid to be crowned European City of Sport 2020.
Closer to home, Andrew supported Staffordshire Ladsandads to win funding for a series of development projects, including improvements at their Trubshaw Cross football centre.
He also supported the Rudyard Lake Trust to fund a new canoe store and launch canoe and paddle board hire.
Andrew said: 鈥淭here鈥檚 a wealth of fantastic ideas for projects to support communities across the 海角视频, but the funding picture is complicated and external help is often necessary to plot a way forward and unlock sources of money.
"We also assist with support to set up not-for-profits, Crowdfunding campaigns, training, sport and leisure management and awards programmes. There鈥檚 also a real need right now around pandemic recovery support."
