French software company Expleo creates 100 jobs at Belfast base

The company is looking for experts in artificial intelligence, robotics, quality engineering, project management and business agility.

The French company which played a major role in developing the StopCOVID NI contact tracing app is to double headcount at its Belfast base by creating 100 new jobs.

Software company Expleo Group said the expansion follows a 125% increase in revenue at its Northern Ireland base the last three years, adding that it plans to grow the ‘depth’ of its talent in the city.

It is on the lookout for staff to fill roles in artificial intelligence, robotics, quality engineering, project management and business agility.

Rob McConnell, Director at Expleo Group, said the shift towards digital in companies across the global will add to demand for the firm’s services in Belfast.

“As the digital transformation agenda takes precedence at boardroom level, Expleo’s protracted phase of development in Northern Ireland looks set to accelerate,” he said. “This period of growth has been powered by an energised, motivated and dedicated work force.”
