Small and medium-sized businesses in the West Country are being invited to take part in a free scheme offering digital and tech support. The Tech for Growth initiative is a fully funded programme providing access to workshops and expert business support to help SMEs get online, enhance their digital presence or adopt new tech.
The initiative is being run by the West of England Combined Authority (Weca) in partnership with Business West and techSPARK.
To be eligible, businesses must be based in Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset or South Gloucestershire, have fewer than 250 employees, a minimum 拢100,000 turnover, employ three full time staff and have ambition to grow and create more jobs.
The idea is to help firms in the region improve processes and productivity, enter new markets, attract new customers, increase sales, and grow turnover and employment.
Lucy Paine from techSPARK said: 鈥渢echSPARK has been a part of the Tech For Growth programme since June 2020, and it's a special project, linking our community with companies needing tech support to grow. We've seen the impact of the tailored approach and are really proud to be a part of this new phase.鈥
Delegates on the programme will have the chance to enhance their knowledge on subjects such as SEO, artificial intelligence, data management, digital marketing, brand strategy and sales processes, as well as connect with experts and peers to share best practices.
