A North East family firm has acquired a specialist healthcare company in an undisclosed deal.
Flexible Support Options, which forms part of the Ladhar Group of companies based in Newcastle, has snapped up Interactive Development Support from Indigo Delta Group.
Around 130 employees transfer to the new owners as part of the deal.

Originally based in Seaton Burn, North Tyneside, Interactive Development Support Limited is a specialist provider of supported living services for adults and children with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, autistic spectrum condition and sensory impairment.
The company offers support to people with needs relating to learning disabilities, mental health, physical disability, autism, aspergers syndrome, behavioural challenges, brain injury or other complex care or support needs.
It works with people at home, school, college or place of work, in one of its short break facilities, supported living facilities or residential services.
The new owners said the acquisition will complement the care services which the wider Flexible Support Options group having been providing since 1996.
