A fast-growing recruitment agency has broadened its reach in the West Midlands by launching a new office in Tamworth.

MET Recruitment, which is headquartered in Dudley, has invested £100,000 into opening a site in Pacific House near the M42.

The Tamworth operation will offer commercial, industrial and tech candidates for both temporary and permanent roles.

The agency has also hired Dee Edwards as recruitment consultant and Claire Foster as industrial growth manager.

The business has secured Stormking as a new client, with MET Recruitment helping it source more than 30 temporary staff every week.

Ms Foster said: "Clients are keen to look at a new breed of recruiter who focus on their requirements and can build strategic relationships that aren't there just for the short-term win.

"Tamworth is full of industrial estates with lots of logistics and manufacturing businesses on them.
