More than 20 events have signed up to a new business festival which is coming to the region next year.

Launched last month, the first ever West Midlands Business Festival is due to be held from March 3 to 14 and will feature a host of different topics under the microscope.

They will include fields such as artificial intelligence, business growth and a celebration of women in business to coincide with International Women's Day on March 8.

The festival, organised by Business Growth West Midlands, is being backed by all three of the region's chambers of commerce, the Federation of Small Businesses, universities and other business organisations.

Venues in all parts of the region will host free conferences, workshops, networking sessions, exhibitions, product launches and showcases.

West Midlands Mayor Richard Parker said: "The first ever West Midlands Business Festival is a fantastic showcase of the creativity and innovation driving our region forward.
