Events company Scene My Event celebrate year of growth and new appointment

Acclaimed events consultant Deepa Parekh has come on board as director of marketing

Events and entertainment company Scene My Event is celebrating a year of growth with major client wins, doubling turnover and a new appointment.

Founded by entrepreneurs Chris Warbrick and Martyn Stuttard in 2017, the company has become known for its industry innovations and investment in hi-tech events solutions.

That includes their 360 Xperience platform, which was used to great effect at the PFA Awards in May 2019 with the ensuing videos of football stars using the platform reaching over 5m people on social media.

Now, the team has announced the appointment of acclaimed events consultant Deepa Parekh as director of marketing to continue their accelerated growth and corporate opportunities.

Deepa, MD of her own 7 Star Consultancy, said of joining Scene My Event: “My role is to help market the Scene My Event brand and develop a sister arm, more exclusive to corporates, experiential events and brands.”

In 2018/9 Scene My Event doubled turnover amid a flurry of major client wins for their event solutions, including north west fashion giants In The Style, technology firm Bang & Olufsen and the Professional Footballers’ Association.

Co-MD Chris Warbrick, 31, from Bolton, said: “It has been a fantastic year of growth for us in all aspects of the business. We have strengthened our core team, invested in new equipment and technology and seen incredible growth in bookings from both our private and corporate clients.
