Energy company BES Group launches Manchester office following demise of Eversmart

The new space at Trafford Park can accommodate up to 400 people

Andy Pilley, owner and director of BES Group

A north west commercial energy supplier is expected to create hundreds of job when it opens a new office in Greater Manchester.

Fleetwood headquartered BES Group, which includes BES Utilities and BES Metering Services, is expanding with a base in Trafford Park.

Following the recent demise of energy supplier Eversmart, owner and director Andy Pilley saw the opportunity to expand BES’ workforce and has already taken on more than 30 people, who have expertise in all areas of supply and metering.

As these members of staff were based in Manchester, Andy saw an opportunity to expand the business and launch a new Trafford Park office.

The new space can accommodate up to 400 people and Andy says he is launching a recruitment drive in Manchester in the New Year.

“As one of the first truly independent energy suppliers, I am thrilled to announce our expansion into Manchester,” he said.

“It’s a really exciting time for BES as the business is continually growing and becoming more successful, cementing our place in this highly competitive sector.

“When we heard the sad news about Eversmart, we wanted to do all we could to help those who had lost their jobs, so we immediately made contact and quickly arranged interviews.
