A broker in County Durham is looking to create 300 new jobs.
Great Annual Savings Group, which is based at the Spectrum Business Park, is looking to double its headcount this year.
The company, which was formed in 2012, helps businesses to reduce their outgoings in energy, water, telecoms, merchant services, insurance and more.
Chief executive Brad Groves said: 鈥淭he first stage of this plan has seen us confirm our commitment to create hundreds of new jobs, which we would like to fill as soon as possible. We have created 200 jobs in the last year alone.
鈥淕AS is one of the fastest-growing companies in the 海角视频 and we are now increasing that rapid pace even further. We will be opening recruitment for these posts imminently in sales-related roles with others to follow.

鈥淭his makes GAS鈥 services more important than ever and we need more staff to deliver these services to as many customers as possible. We will be moving into the new premises towards the back end of the calendar year.鈥
GAS has more than 10,000 customers across the 海角视频 and Ireland and employs staff across the 海角视频.
The company is not the only firm in the brokerage field to be expanding in the North East.
Northern Gas and Power, which last year topped the Ward Hadaway list of the North East鈥檚 Fastest 50 growing companies, announced plans for 150 new jobs last month after signing a deal to move into Gateshead鈥檚 new flagship office building Riga.
Around the same time, the Green Energy Advice Bureau launched a recruitment drive to fill 50 new posts in South Shields and Sunderland.
