A marketing agency has increased its workforce by 50 per cent after seeing a boost in demand for its digital services during the pandemic.

Gavin Young, director and co-owner of Tamworth-based EBY Design, says that the dramatic shift in the way business is being done over the past 18 months has attracted a number of new clients looking to "harness the power of digital" to help navigate the restrictions caused by lockdown.

The company estimates that it has seen a 30 per cent demand in digital services from existing and new clients, including one of the º£½ÇÊÓƵ's largest public sector suppliers YPO, a global pharmaceutical company, a leading regional dental practice, a film production company, a global engineering company and a Midlands-based global trade association.

Gavin said: "Adaptability, for our business and for many others, has been critical to surviving the many challenges and changes caused by the pandemic.

"The impact of digital uptake has been much deeper than anyone predicted. We have seen many brands take the decision to transform their businesses during the pandemic and for many that has been the key to survival.

"They have had to switch the way they do business and research indicates that many of these changes are likely to stay."

The new client wins have led to EBY signing up to become a Staffordshire Ambassador.
