A Durham firm is set to create around 30 new jobs after seeing a surge of post-lockdown orders.
The Apex Group - which includes wiring, lighting and heating companies - is investing more than 拢400,000 in new machinery and adding to its production team to meet a number of new orders secured in recent weeks.
The new investment comes two years after Apex invested half a million pounds to create the 海角视频鈥檚 first specialist prefabricated utility cupboard production line, forming Apex Core.

Apex managing director Dave Lewis said: 鈥淭he world has changed, the way we do business has changed and the way our customers operate continues to change, and what we have done is successfully adapt to this change.
鈥淭he Core units and Apex Wiring Solution鈥檚 modular wiring enables socially-distanced installation, Artech鈥檚 product performance and efficiencies continue to improve, as we all do our bit to address the global climate crisis and we are continually upgrading our IT systems to ensure all of our internal processes are streamlined and responsive.
鈥淚 also believe businesses must make an effort to 鈥楤uy British鈥, not only to aid the economic bounce back, but avoid additional issues around importing products from overseas, which include the obvious reduction in carbon emissions and the creation of manufacturing jobs in the 海角视频. The company鈥檚 Artech Lighting business is also making investment to purchase purchasing a second paint plant and other equipment, as well as upgrades to its IT network.
