Dragons' Den star Steven Bartlett to join Soccer Aid to raise money for Unicef

The Social Chain, Flight Story and ThirdWeb co-founder will join the likes of former One Direction singer Liam Payne

Dragons' Den star Steven Bartlett has revealed he will take part in this year's Soccer Aid football match to raise money for the United Nations Children's Fund (Unicef).

The Social Chain, Flight Story and ThirdWeb co-founder will play at West Ham's London Stadium in front of 60,000 fans.

Former One Direction singer Liam Payne will captain England while Robbie Williams will perform his hit Angels for fans at half-time.

Soccer Aid, which will return on June 12, has raised more than £60m for the humanitarian organisation, which helps to provide aid to children worldwide, since 2006.

The match between England and the Soccer Aid World XI will feature a variety of recognisable faces including debuts from Alex Brooker, Lucien Laviscount and Arsene Wenger.

Soccer Aid 2022 will see the return of Usain Bolt as captain of Soccer Aid World XI FC, with the Jamaican returning to London 10 years on from his gold medal wins at London 2012.

Martin Compston, Mo Gilligan, Harry Redknapp, Gary Neville, Fara Williams and Chunkz will also make their return to the pitch.
