Devon Chamber of Commerce has appointed a new chief executive.
Helen Wylde-Archibald, who will take over the job on October 6, was previously head of Cornwall-based internet company Wildanet.
She is also the co-founder of South West AI Solutions - a business that helps companies adopt the us of artificial intelligence.
In a post on LinkedIn, Ms Wylde-Archibald said she was "excited to get started" in her new role which she will carry out alongside her job at South West AI Solutions.
She wrote: "I’m deeply honoured to lead this next chapter for the chamber. My focus will be on co-creating bold, actionable strategies with our members, partners, and communities, ensuring Devon thrives as a national exemplar of resilience, connectivity, and impact.
"For me, the Devon Chamber of Commerce represents a powerful, collaborative platform that champions inclusive growth, innovation, and stewardship across Devon and I am looking forward to working with everyone to help Devon and Devon businesses be the best they can be, offering opportunities for employment and ensuring that our voices are heard where it matters."
Her appointment follows the merger of Exeter Chamber with Devon and Plymouth Chamber to create the larger Devon Chamber, which runs some 100 events across the county each year.
Richard Stevens, chair of the Chamber, added: “Helen brings not only a wealth of experience but also the personal qualities to connect with people and communities across Devon.
"This is a pivotal moment, and we’re excited to grow and support our members under her leadership.”
