Derbyshire PR firm founded almost a decade ago relocates to realise growth plans

Poppy PR is on the move after being based in Ilkeston

An award-winning boss of a Derbyshire PR firm has decided to relocate her business in order to realise its growth plans.

For the past four years, Poppy PR, which was founded by Tina Clough, has operated out of Ilkeston. But now, the company is moving to the DBS Centre managed offices, in Market Street, Castle Donington.

Located on the site of a former vicarage in the centre of the market town, the building offers state-of-the-art meeting rooms, period features alongside mod cons, chill-out areas, contemporary office accommodation, reception facilities and parking.

Castle Donington is located between Derby and Leicester, with good links to Nottingham, which will allow Poppy PR to grow its number of clients across the East Midlands.

Tina, who also lives in Castle Donington, said: “I’m in love with the town. I love the community and the opportunities that are there. As well as the community feel, there’s a lot of enterprise going on in the area.

“We are surrounded by the airport, there are lots of distribution centres there, there’s the Pegasus Business Park - there are a lot of businesses there that are quite serious about growth and making money.

“I’ve found from living there, it’s a very friendly place to be. A lot of people asked ‘Why don’t you move your business to Castle Donington?’ I was running out of reasons not to.”
