A Derby firm which designs and manufactures clothing and equipment used by some of the world鈥檚 top triathletes has launched a new range to raise money for the NHS.
HUUB, which is headquartered in Full Street, has created a special cycle jersey and technical performance T-shirt to help inspire fitness enthusiasts to continue their regimes and to raise money for the NHS.
Sporting the logo 鈥楤etter In Than Out鈥 and a cheerful rainbow design, the garments have been designed and made in record turnaround time.
The cycle jerseys cost 拢59.99 and the technical performance T-shirts cost 拢29.99, with all profits donated to NHS Charities Together which acknowledges and supports NHS Staff, volunteers and patients impacted by Covid-19.
Dean Jackson, founder and owner of HUUB, said: 鈥淎t a time when everyone鈥檚 lives have been turned around, we wanted to design something for our triathlon, cycling and running communities to keep their spirits up and to raise money for the NHS.
鈥淎lthough we all love getting outdoors to cycle, the jerseys sport the important message 鈥楤etter In Than Out鈥 to encourage cyclists to exercise indoors wherever possible to keep the body moving and stimulate the brain.
鈥淚f not, we urge them to follow the Government advice and stick to shorter circular routes from home 鈥 either with another person from your household or on your own.
鈥淎voiding the roads is not necessarily about spreading coronavirus 鈥 it is to reduce the potential for accidents and collisions that obviously take up precious emergency resources 鈥 or requiring help if there is a mechanical difficulty whilst out and about.
