The inward investment agency for Derby is among a dozen firms and organisations from across the East Midlands to have been named as winners of prestigious Queen’s Awards.

Marketing Derby, a public/private sector partnership that promotes the city as a place to invest, has been awarded a Queen’s Award for Innovation.

The organisation’s activities are supported by an army of bondholders – companies who make a financial contribution in exchange for a range of marketing materials and access to exclusive events.

Over the years, Marketing Derby has been successful in attracting many millions of pounds worth of investment and new jobs to the city.

Celebrating the º£½ÇÊÓƵ’s small and medium sized businesses, the awards are regarded as the most prestigious business awards in the country, with winning businesses able to use the esteemed Queen’s Awards emblem for the next five years.
