Deadline looms for Coventry Telegraph Business Awards

Nominations close on Friday August 30

The deadline is looming for people and companies to submit entries for the 2019 Coventry Telegraph Business Awards.

Nominations close on Friday August 30, meaning would-be entrants have just one week left to sign-up.

This year's event is a special one as it marks the 25th year of the awards, now in conjunction with BusinessLive.

To mark a very special occasion TV and radio presenter Jeremy Vine is returning to his journalistic roots in Coventry to host this year’s event.

Jeremy, who is famous for his BBC Radio 2 show and Channel 5 TV programme, began his career in journalism in 1986 as a 21-year-old trainee at what was then the Coventry Evening Telegraph.

This year’s awards are being backed by event partners Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce - while Orbit Group, Barclays, Birmingham Airport, Wasps and Ricoh Arena and Jaguar Land Rover are among the sponsors.

CoventryLive and Coventry Telegraph editor Keith Perry said: “Our business awards are a celebration of all the fantastic things that are produced by firms in Coventry and Warwickshire.”

Our events team has put together a new-look awards with some new categories to celebrate the achievements of a host of different businesses, charities and public sector bodies.
