The deadline for the 2021 Nottinghamshire Live Women in Business Awards nominations has been extended by an extra week.
People have until 5pm this Friday 鈥 October 15 鈥 to nominate themselves or someone else for one of the prestigious awards.
It is hoped extending the deadline will give people more time to fill in the application form
The awards night takes place this year at Nottingham鈥檚 Crowne Plaza hotel on Wednesday, November 17, and is being hosted in partnership with headline sponsor , a Nottingham business that has been supplying blinds, curtains and shutters for five decades.
The awards are also being run in association with Nottinghamshire Live鈥檚 sister publication BusinessLive.
Lesley Hampson, regional events manager for Nottinghamshire Live parent group Reach Plc, said now was the perfect time to celebrate the achievements of successful businesswomen from across the county.
She said: 鈥淲e鈥檙e really looking forward to the awards night next month.
鈥淎fter more than a year-and-a-half of pandemic restrictions we鈥檙e really happy to be able to host real time events and everyone is raring to go.
鈥淲e were able to kick off our live awards season across the Reach family of publications earlier this autumn and it鈥檚 been a breath of fresh air seeing people back in the flesh again.

Nottinghamshire Live editor Natalie Fahy said now more than ever we should be celebrating our female captains of industry 鈥 from the CEOs and finance bosses of our top companies, to high-flying career accountants and lawyers, 鈥渕umpreneurs鈥 and entrepreneurs, with the awards highlighting the achievements of a vast range of businesswomen from across the county.
The awards evening will include a red carpet drinks reception, followed by a three-course dinner then the awards presentation.
