A popular food festival held in Birmingham's business district will return to its familiar summer date next year.

Colmore Food Festival will take place on July 4 and 5 in Victoria Square, having been held in September this year to allow for the completion of renovation work of the public space in front of the Council House.

Once again, hospitality venues within the Colmore Business District will be selling their food and drink across the two-day event which will mark its 12th year in 2025.

There will also be a stage with live bands and other entertainment.

The event will be free to attend and organiser Colmore Business Improvement District said price caps would remain on food and drink and free activities would be on offer for children.

Among those venues which took stalls at this year's festival were Asha's, Vagabond, Hotel du Vin, Gaucho and Loki Wine.

It is estimated that the festival attracts around 30,000 visitors over the two days each year.

Alex Tross, deputy chairman of Colmore BID, said: "Hot off the heels of the 2024 event, we're so excited to announce the dates for Colmore Food Festival 2025.

"It's a key event in Birmingham's leisure and hospitality calendar, supporting the industry and bringing the community together."
