Finalists in the 2019 Coventry Telegraph and BusinessLive Business Awards gathered for a drinks reception at the Forest of Arden Marriott Hotel & Country Club in Meriden.
The countdown to the big night is now on with the event taking place on November 21.
The drinks reception was sponsored by the Forest of Arden Marriott Hotel & Country Club and hosted by manager Herman Muller.
Welcoming the guests, Coventry Telegraph interim editor Graeme Brown said: “The Coventry Telegraph and BusinessLive Business Awards is a huge event for us - not just in Coventry and Warwickshire but across Reach plc.
“The Coventry and Warwickshire business scene is one that has punched above its weight.
“It has always made things and in terms of manufacturing is the envy of the world.
“Latterly it has been renowned for its technology sector and there are two fantastic universities spilling out talented young people.
“Every day at the Telegraph I see how many incredible things are happening in Coventry and Warwickshire.

Mr Brown said that a new aspect to this year’s event was that it was being run in partnership with BusinessLive - Reach plc’s new national business news website.
He also thanked sponsors of the event and the Forest of Arden Marriott Hotel & Country Club.
This year’s awards are being backed by event partners Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce; while Orbit Group, Barclays, Birmingham Airport, Wasps and Ricoh Arena, Jaguar Land Rover and the Coventry and Warwickshire Growth Hub have all signed up as sponsors.
The awards night will take place at the Ricoh Arena on Thursday November 21, and also form the closing ceremony of the Coventry and Warwickshire Business Festival.
The awards also have a very special host in the shape of Jeremy Vine, who will be returning to his journalistic roots.
Jeremy, who is famous for his BBC Radio 2 show and Channel 5 TV programme, began his career in journalism in 1986 as a 21-year-old trainee at the Coventry Evening Telegraph.

Coventry and Warwickshire Business Festival
The awards form the closing event of the Coventry and Warwickshire Business Festival, which is now in its third year.
Organised by Coventry and Warwickshire LEP and the Growth Hub, the festival includes a wide-ranging programme of business events hosted by local organisations from across the region to encourage collaboration, networking, innovation, learning and sharing opportunities.
