Cornwall Innovation has announced the appointment of a new business support advisor.
The office and desk facilities operator, which has three centres across the Duchy, has appointed Rebecca Loto to the role. Earlier this year Cornwall Innovation pledged to provide a business support advisor as a complimentary benefit to its customers, to bridge the gap of EU-funded business programmes, which ended in June.
Cornwall Innovation aims to created collaborative spaces where people can network safely.
Ms Loto has spent over 20 years working and owning businesses across sectors including property, marine and tourism, as well as supporting sole-traders, start-ups and high growth businesses as a coach and mentor. She is also a certified business strategist.

Ms Loto previously held positions in the business support arena at the Cornwall & Isles of Scilly Growth and Skills Hub and Falmouth University’s Venture Studio, Launchpad. Her role at Cornwall Innovation will be to support both new and high growth businesses, within the centres to grow and thrive.
Cornwall Innovation is operated by the University of Plymouth for Cornwall Council. As part of her role, Ms Loto will also engage with businesses to support students with employment initiatives such as a dedicated internship scheme.
