The founder of a Nottingham-based architects has launched a charity pledge after recently qualifying as a racing driver.

Edward Acres, founder of Acres Architects, became a qualified racing driver after completing his rookie season as part of Ginetta's GT Academy.

Now he is hosting a 'Racing for Homes' track day at Donington Park to help launch his firm's charity drive in support of Framework Housing Association.

The first 50 people to donate £45 or more to the cause will be offered the opportunity to sit in the passenger seat of Edward's GT56 Ginetta race car as he takes them for three exhilarating laps of the famous circuit.

Acres Architects was founded 12 years ago and moved to its office in Nottingham Business Park, opposite Nottingham University campus, in 2017.

The firm specialises in residential projects, from private homes to large student accommodation developments.
