Co-op Live to create more than 2,000 jobs at £365m venue

More than 3,350 jobs have been created through the construction of the venue to date.

Co-op Live, the £365m venue being built by Manchester City's Etihad Stadium, has launched a recruitment campaign to create more than 2,000 jobs.

The venue will be the º£½ÇÊÓÆµ's largest live entertainment arena and is due to open in April next year.

The new jobs available include stewards, fan safety and services, chefs, bar and restaurant staff, back of house food and beverage staff and hosts.

Gary Roden, executive director and general manager, Co-op Live, said: "Co-op Live is proud to support jobs and enhance career opportunities across Manchester.

"Our new starters will join an incredible crew, supporting us across our exciting opening season and becoming vital to the success of the arena. These new jobs will make a difference to local communities, bringing well-paid jobs to our neighbourhood."

More than 3,350 jobs have been created through the construction of the venue to date.

Co-op Live is a joint venture between Oak View Group and City Football Group and also counts Harry Styles as an investor.
