A Black Country creative studio launched last year after its founders were all made redundant has secured a brace of new client wins.

True Studio was set up by Drew Burtenshaw, Gareth Willowe and Mark Richards who had all previously worked together at a design and digital studio in Wolverhampton before leaving last summer.

Their new venture offers services such as branding, website development, copywriting and video production and has now secured its latest client briefs.

The firm is working with North Warwickshire & South Leicestershire College and an initiative aimed at tackling depression by harnessing the benefits of cold water swimming in Jersey.

The latter has seen the company develop the 'SeaClearly' brand, an e-commerce website and a mix of products that will help fund the campaign and meet its target of supporting hundreds of people with their mental health.

Its other projects since launching have included a rebrand for the MIRA Technology Institute in Nuneaton, a social media campaign with Jersey-based Gorey Wine Cellar and a sustainability project with Wyboston Lakes Resort near Cambridge.

The team is currently working remotely from bases in the Black Country and Shropshire could launch a permanent base for the studio in the future.
