Chamber launches Covid-19 recovery hub

The aim is to keep firms updated with all the latest information

Louise Bennett, chief executive of the Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce

A new hub has been launched for businesses in Coventry and Warwickshire to help the regional economy recover from the effects of the coronavirus pandemic.

The Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce’s Covid-19 recovery hub will keep firms updated with all the latest information - from government guidance to opportunities to bid for new contracts.

It has been designed to help companies across the region to prepare for the first steps being taken to get the economy moving again.

As more guidance emerges from government, it will be added to the hub but there will also be information available on HR, workplace cleaning, health and safety and available support.

There will also be a chance for suppliers of items such as PPE and hand sanitiser to register, as well as businesses producing items such as signage or ‘zoning’ equipment to help companies ensure staff are socially distancing.

The hub will also provide a link to the new www.finditinCW.co.uk website which offers the latest information on new contract and tendering opportunities.

And there will be information on online events and webinars to help businesses with training and information on dealing with Covid-19 and the return to work.

Louise Bennett, chief executive of the Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce, said businesses have shown they are ready to get back to work but only when they feel it is safe for them to do so.
