Castore has signed a multi-year kit deal with Welsh rugby union team Scarlets ahead of their 150 th anniversary season.

The premium sportswear brand will supply the senior squad’s playing, training and travel wear, supporters’ leisure range, as well as kitting out the club’s academy and women’s teams.

The Manchester-headquartered company, which is backed by the likes of Sir Andy Murray and the billionaire Asda-owning Issa brothers, will also take over the Parc y Scarlets club shop and e-commerce operations with the kit going on sale to supporters in late summer.

Castore already has deals with the likes of Saracens, USA Rugby, Samoa Rugby, Rangers, Newcastle United, Wolves and McLaren F1.

Scarlets head of commercial James Bibby said: "It’s a hugely exciting time to be partnering with Castore and we look forward to joining their stable of elite sporting brands.

"I have been impressed by the level of professionalism and talent that the Castore management and design teams have demonstrated over the past few months and look forward to seeing the new Scarlets range being on sale in a few months’ time.
