1) If you could go back in time and have one conversation with one person, dead or alive, who would it be and what would you discuss?
Like most passionate Brummies, I'd pick Herbert Manzoni, the civil engineer who ran roughshod though the deconstruction of some of the city's most beautiful buildings between the 40s and 60s.

I'd give him a hug and tell him to slow down. Tell him to breathe. Tell him not be such a twerp, mainly.
2) Which single element of any city in the world that you have visited would you like to see transplanted into Birmingham?
I'd dearly love the BBC headquarters, complete with staff, from Manchester. Can we pinch a football club or two while we're there?
3) Which technological innovation would you happily see consigned to history and what would you like to see invented which doesn't yet exist?
If we all agreed to turn our backs on Facebook, with no exceptions, I'd be up for it. Admit it, Twitter makes you love strangers but Facebook makes you hate your friends.
As for an invention, well the hoverboard is long overdue. I've been waiting for that since Back To The Future Part Two, 1989. That's 26 years. Twenty. Six. Years.
4) Think about who your ideal dinner guests might be but instead you can only invite their relatives. Who would you choose and what would you ask them?

I'd invite Herbert Manzoni's wife and ask her to tell him to stop being such a twerp. I'd sit her next to Noel and Liam's dad as I bet he's got a story or two that would cheer her up.
And finally I'd like to invite my dad's son - me - so that I can talk to myself about stuff only I get. That's pretty messed up, right?
5) There are many 'National Days', some more obscure than others, but which one would you like to create that doesn't already exist?
I'd like to see a National National Day Day on which we celebrate all National Days on one National Day. Utter chaos.
