A pest control company has been acquired by a national group.
Birmingham-based Midland Pest Control has joined Surrey outfit Nurture Group which operates a range of green services.
Based in the city's Jewellery Quarter, Midlands Pest Control was founded in 2000 by husband and wife team Stephen and Ruth Hurley and specialises in pest control identification, treatment and prevention for both commercial and domestic.
Its clients work in fields such as facilities management, property management, hospitality, healthcare and manufacturing.

Nurture Group was founded in 2008 and operates three companies specialising in landscape gardening and maintenance, landscape construction and pest management.
It has offices across the º£½ÇÊÓÆµ but this deal represents its first presence in the West Midlands. The undisclosed takeover of Midland Pest Control is the group's 45th acquisition since being founded.
