A business services provider is expanding its portfolio with the launch of a new company- as it steps up the development of its new £2 million headquarters.

The Chaffinch Group, in Stoke-on-Trent, is setting up Chaffinch Digital which will specialise in the design and building of websites, branding, digital marketing and social media.

It will predominantly focus on delivering services to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) including trade services, professional services and those that need online booking systems creating.

Founder Alastair Machin said: "Launching a new digital marketing arm to the business is the next step for us in terms of expanding the Chaffinch brand. Across the group we are growing and investing heavily to sustain that level of growth.

"With the new company we want to disrupt the market and do it better. There are a lot of digital marketing companies out there but we're different."

He added: "If covid-19 and lockdown has taught us anything from a business perspective it's that remote or flexible working is the future and here to stay. Our digital team will come from all over the globe which means our talent base is unlimited from a geographical perspective which can only benefit our customers."

Founded in 2011, Chaffinch Group is already investing £2 million into a new headquarters, in Middleport, which will accommodate the new company.

It is the third company to come under the Chaffinch brand which already includes Chaffinch Document - a data management company and student services business Chaffinch Student.
