BT Group has unveiled a new Welsh headquarters in Cardiff for 1,000 staff. Its hub in the capital is located at the 3 Capital Quarter building which forms part of the wider Capital Quarter scheme from developer JR Smart.
The building, which extends to 65,000 sq ft, was previously occupied by car insurance to loans group Admiral who agreed to assign its lease with landlord Mayfair Capital to BT in 2022.
The new workspace and contact centre will become a hub for staff across the BT Group, including EE, BT Business and Openreach. The new Cardiff HQ is part of BT Group鈥檚 programme to modernise its workspaces and reduce its number of locations from more than 300, to around 30.

鈥淚t will bring our people together in an impressive and modern environment that will help us work better together, and attract and retain the best people. Our new workspaces have a real focus on colleague wellbeing.
