Growing haulage firm Browns Distribution has released more images of the new HQ it is building just 300 metres away from its current base in Stoke-on-Trent.

Browns Distribution announced last year that it is constructing a huge £8 million facility in Tunstall after seeing freight volume and demand for palletised collections and deliveries "sky-rocket" over the last two years.

And work is progressing quickly on the new site, which will boast a 75,000 sq ft warehouse and two-storey office space as well as a "top-spec" maintenance workshop and 100 on-site parking spaces.

A spokesman for Browns Distribution said: "There are just three months to go until our big day. Our new HQ looks vastly different from the steel shell which stood just over a month ago.

"Excitement is growing over here at Browns with the speedy progress of our site and the finalisation of our new interior plans."

The 137-strong company - which hopes to create 15 new jobs as part of the expansion - expects work on its new HQ to be finished by the end of August.
