British American Tobacco director joins THG board

She succeeds Damian Sanders, who was recently named THG's chief financial officer

A director at Britain's biggest tobacco company has joined the board at software and online retail giant THG.

Sue Farr has taken on the role of senior independent director at the Manchester-headquartered group.

Ms Farr currently holds the same position at British American Tobacco as well as Altrincham-based car dealership chain, Lookers.

She succeeds Damian Sanders, who was recently named THG's chief financial officer.

Ms Farr said: "I am pleased to be joining THG at such an exciting time for the group as it continues to grow and to scale globally.

"THG is a business I have long admired and I look forward to working with Charles and the rest of the board on this next stage in the group's journey."
