A Bristol-based recruitment agency has hired its first female director and unveiled plans to achieve B Corp accreditation.
Bodhi Resourcing has appointed Cathy Knight, as it looks to a more sustainable and diverse future. Ms Knight has been appointed to the role of people operations and client services director, where she will help develop a new marketing and creative recruitment division, while accelerating the company's strategic goals and sustainability ambitions.
As Bodhi鈥檚 first female director, Ms Knight鈥檚 appointment underlines the company鈥檚 commitment to encouraging a more diverse workforce.

Ms Knight said: 鈥淚鈥檓 delighted to be joining the leadership team at Bodhi at such an exciting time. I鈥檓 looking forward to drawing on all my experience so that we can offer much deeper support in the marketing and creative industries. I鈥檝e worked with the directors, Zane O鈥橠riscoll and John Howells, in previous roles and know that we share the same values, ethos and outlook.鈥
As well as heading-up the new marketing division, Ms Knight will lead Bodhi in its ambition to become B Corp Certified next year.
She continued: 鈥淭his is a priority for us and, having navigated the B Corp Certification process for my previous business, Isme People, I know that this is within our grasp. At Bodhi, we prioritise both people and purpose and it鈥檚 important that we embody and demonstrate this in everything we do.
鈥淎s a business, we鈥檒l be looking to work closely with other B Corps and will be actively looking to creating relationships with clients that are aligned with our views.".
