Acclaimed Beverly Hills plastic surgeon and US reality TV star Dr Paul Nassif has launched his very first º£½ÇÊÓƵ clinic - in Salford - with plans to roll out the concept across the º£½ÇÊÓƵ.
The celebrity facial and reconstructive plastic surgeon has launched Nassif MedSpa with business partner Amanda Richardson.
The star of ITVBe & E! TV show ‘Botched’ Dr Nassif earmarked Peel L&P’s ‘The Alex’ building in MediaCityº£½ÇÊÓƵ to launch his non-surgical MedSpa concept following the success of his world renowned clinic in Beverly Hills, California.
The Salford venue is an exact replica of Dr Nassif’s Beverly Hills clinic and will specialise in non-surgical procedures such as antiwrinkle injections, dermal fillers, laser hair removal, laser skin rejuvenation and body contouring.
In addition, the MedSpa will offer alternative therapies including vitamin drips, facial acupuncture, Gua Sha and traditional Chinese medicine.
Dr Nassif’s Manchester based business partner, Amanda Richardson said: “As Dr Nassif is such a big name in this country – ‘Botched’ is aired in 160 countries and the º£½ÇÊÓƵ has the second largest viewing audience, it made sense for the º£½ÇÊÓƵ to be the next location we expanded the MedSpa brand too.
“We earmarked MediaCityº£½ÇÊÓƵ as Dr Nassif’s first º£½ÇÊÓƵ base for several reasons. As a destination it’s centrally located and easily accessible, plus, a recent industry survey showed the demand for non-surgical procedures such as anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers to be higher in the North West than in London.
“The º£½ÇÊÓƵ has many skilled and capable plastic surgeons and non-surgical doctors, however there are not yet any major household names like Dr Nassif’s.

“Demand for non-surgical aesthetics in the º£½ÇÊÓƵ is fast catching up with the USA and has become socially acceptable.
“However, the º£½ÇÊÓƵ has less regulation than other countries and unless patients are already informed or have extensively researched, they are vulnerable to the consequences of selecting practitioners who are not medically trained or sufficiently experienced in this field.
“Following the success of our MediaCityº£½ÇÊÓƵ MedSpa we plan to roll-out the concept in cities across the º£½ÇÊÓƵ with London earmarked to be the location for the next one.”
Dr Nassif is also bringing his skincare line NassifMD Dermaceuticals to the º£½ÇÊÓƵ where it will be sold exclusively at the MedSpa in MediaCityº£½ÇÊÓƵ.
Chris Reay, property director of MediaCityº£½ÇÊÓƵ said: “The MedSpa is a fantastic addition to MediaCityº£½ÇÊÓƵ and the fact that we were earmarked by Dr Nassif as the first location in the º£½ÇÊÓƵ to launch his concept is testament to our accessible world class, internationally recognised destination. We are sure the MedSpa will be a tremendous success here.”
