Birmingham Publicity Association to host brace of webinars

Media industry professionals will lead the online seminars focussing on why video is a necessity and the future of TV respectively

A media trade body is hosting two webinars next month.

Birmingham Publicity Association is running the brace of online seminars which will welcome guests speakers discussing why video is a necessity and the future of TV respectively.

The first event takes place on May 12 and hear from Jake Barrett and Steve Price, from Barrett Film Co, who will discuss video and why it is no longer a marketing luxury.

The second webinar is scheduled for May 25 and is being held in conjunction with Sky, focussing on the future of TV.

Mark McDonagh, chairman of the Birmingham Publicity Association, said: "Our first thought leadership talk in January was really well attended by not just BPA members but representatives from across our industry and from all across the Midlands.

"As we prepare to lift ourselves out of the lockdown and go back to some kind of normal, it's really important that we have a clear overview of where our industry is heading and make sure our training and knowledge is very much at the front of our businesses.

"We really hope these sessions will help us all feel much more of a community again and start to give us a peek back into life going forward into 2021."
