Birmingham businesswomen team up to launch new comms agency

Three Blondes and a Brunette has been created to offer marketing and PR services

A quartet of Birmingham businesswomen have teamed up to launch a new marketing and communications agency.

The four women have founded Three Blondes and a Brunette, named as a nod to their respective hair colours, combining decades of industry experience.

Terri Smart-Jewkes is an experienced PR professional and has worked in a host of agency roles and in-house for firms such as McCann in Solihull, Virgin and Saatchi.

Katie McPhilimey launched her own lifestyle magazine Live 24-Seven in 2005 where she oversaw both editorial and commercial aspects of its operation and also worked as a presenter on Irish TV.

Kay White previously founded and ran Red Venture which was non-profit organisation specialising in charitable treks, galas and sporting events.

She was also a founding patron of Birmingham-based charity Cure Leukaemia and has helped to raise hundreds of thousands of pounds, taking people on treks around the world.

Completing the new team is Fiona Williams who has developed new restaurants and also fashion brand McHugh Lifestyle.
