The Birmingham Apprenticeship Awards 2020 will celebrate achievement among individuals, their employers and education and training providers.

This year's event is run in partnership a campaign which is working to create hundreds of new apprenticeships across the region.

The awards will celebrate achievement across 12 separate categories including crowning our overall Apprentice of the Year.

They have been postponed until November because of the coronavirus crisis but the deadline to enter has now been extended until July 3.

Education Engagement Award, sponsored by Birmingham & Solihull Training Provider Network

An award for employers, training providers, universities and other education providers which have pro-actively promoted apprenticeships with those who are in education. It will recognise those who have provided information, guidance and opportunities to those in education; encouraging them to follow the apprenticeship route.

Judges will consider what other support is offered by these organisations which has contributed to people making positive progress on their own career journey.

Last year's winner in this category, then called the Schools Engagement Award, was financial services giant PwC.
