Motor insurance to loans group and Wales’ only FTSE 100 company, Admiral, has again been recognised as one of the best employers in the º£½ÇÊÓƵ.

Admiral, which employs 13,000 globally with 8,000 in South Wales, has been ranked second in the super large workplace category in the 2025 º£½ÇÊÓƵ's Best Workplaces initiative from Great Place to Work.

It marks the 25th consecutive year that Admiral has been recognised as a great employer by Great Place to Work. The super large category is for employers with more than 10,000 staff. This year it is topped by hotel chain Hilton.

Ranking in the º£½ÇÊÓƵ's Best Workplaces, whose other categories recognise the best employers for large, medium and small businesses, is based on staff feedback.

Admiral highest score was 95% when staff were asked if they felt the company is a diverse and inclusive employer, followed by 94% confirming it as being a friendly place to work.

Lorna Connelly, Admiral’s º£½ÇÊÓƵ people director, said: “The heart of our business is our people, and following the announcement of our latest financial results showing strong growth and performance, it fills me with so much pride that our people have felt just as looked after as our customers.

"A huge thank you to everyone who makes Admiral such a fantastic place to work. We’ll always prioritise nurturing an environment where our colleagues feel supported, heard, and empowered.”

Benedict Gautrey, Great Place to Work managing director, said: “Year after year, it’s truly inspiring to witness a growing number of organisations earn a spot on our list. We’ve seen an increase yet again in trust index scores which means the bar has been raised and this accreditation is a significant and tremendous accomplishment.
