Wales’ only FTSE 100 company Admiral has announced a new partnership with conservation charity dedicated to protecting and restoring wetlands WWT.
The car insurance to loans group, which employs more than 7,000 in South Wales with its HQ in Cardiff.
As the largest contributor to WWT’s Climate Resilience Fund (CRF), Admiral’s £150,000 funding will support a wide range of conservation projects across WWT’s ten Ƶ reserves. These initiatives include habitat restoration, species monitoring, flood management, and community engagement.
Wetlands play a vital role in carbon sequestration, flood mitigation, and biodiversity, making their protection essential in the fight against climate change.
