70 new jobs up for grabs at Staffordshire's Parogon Group ahead of new venue opening

The company has carried out a £950,000 refurbishment to its latest venue

Around 70 new jobs are set to be created at a new gastro pub which is due to open next month.

The Red House, in Lilleshall, is the seventh venue to be opened by Staffordshire pub company, Parogon Group.

More than £950,000 is being invested in the restaurant ahead of its officially opening on Tuesday, September 10.

And recruitment for up to 70 new jobs is underway - with 37 positions available in the kitchen, 30 vacancies up for grabs for front-of-house and three spaces left in the new management team.

The Red House is the latest venue to join the Parogon Group’s growing portfolio which comprises of The Swan With Two Necks, The Wayfarer, The Orange Tree and Blockhouse at The Sheet Anchor, in Staffordshire, as well as the The Boars Head in Nantwich and The Seven Stars in Stafford.

Richard Knight, general manager at The Red House, said: "I have been given the opportunity to open the Red House as general manager and I’m very excited to get started.

"Contractors P M Lally have done an excellent job in helping us to refurbish the existing premises and I can’t wait for the public to see the changes and start enjoying our food, drinks and atmosphere.”
