Jack Brown has been appointed as graduate operations manager for Mobile Mini at its East Midlands branch.

The firm is an industry-leading national hirer of portable site accommodation and secure storage containers.

A Manchester Metropolitan University graduate, Jack, from Nottingham, joins the team as part of the firm’s graduate scheme.

As graduate operations manager, the 26-year-old will study all aspects of the site operations and will build on his learning and development, working across the various departments in the office and the yard alongside participating in branch, regional and national meetings for Mobile Mini.

He will also spend time visiting regional branches to widen his knowledge of the company’s systems and develop his understanding of the full operations.

Jack said: "Studying has helped me to learn how business processes work but training schemes such as these are invaluable to graduates as we see get to see the 'real world’.

"The role being semi practical means I am able to get ‘hands-on’ - not just working in the office but being able to get my hands dirty in the yard and that really appealed to me!

"The company's outlook and future plans are very inspiring and there are many exciting opportunities to progress and work my way up the career ladder.

"I want to learn and absorb as much as I can, as well as make a positive difference to the team, customers and the wider business.

"I have lots of ideas I want to share and work with others to develop the company and the products available to our customers."

Laura Moore, East Midlands branch manager, said: "Our graduate training programme helps to develop the next generation of managers and directors for Mobile Mini and we embrace the fresh thinking, creative ideas and energy that they bring.

"Jack will be an asset to our East Midlands branch, and we wish him all the best in the development of his career."
